Racing XP SAE 20w50
|
 |
Racing XP synthetic blend motor oil is designed for the lubrication of high-performance competition injected, supercharged, turbocharged, and naturally aspirated engines using high octane gasoline or other exotic fuels (including methanol or nitromethane). Recommended for use in dragsters, sprint cars, midgets, stock cars, and pulling vehicles. Contains high level of premium zinc (ZDDP) anti-wear and oil stabilizers delivering the strongest barrier of protection with maximum piston ring seal for high power compression.

Today’s gasoline engine oils are formulated toward meeting stringent standards by reducing critical, performance proven, anti-wear additives like ZDDP.
Motor oil’s function is to prevent friction, the metal-to-metal wear that occurs when motor oil no longer creates a protective shield between moving parts. Using motor oil containing low-level ZDDP in harsh operating conditions spells bad news for racing engines. 6,000 plus RPMs creates enormous heat, pressure and shearing. In fact, engine builders strongly recommend using engine oil high in ZDDP for both break-in and competition racing engines employing flat-tappet and roller cams in response to an increase in cam failure correlating to the use of low-level ZDDP motor oils.
Champion® Racing XP motor oil, with two times the ZDDP of other synthetic oils, provides premium anti-wear protection in heavily loaded racing engines with flat tappet cam followers operating at high RPMs requiring high-pressure (stiff) valve springs. Champion® Racing XP synthetic blend motor oil’s tough film strength not only protects engines better than other racing oils, but is proven to provide more horsepower and torque in Dynamometer testing.
Champion® Racing XP’s select additives are what make the major difference in out performing other racing oils setting it apart as the new benchmark for comparison.
