National Farm Machinery Show Championship Tractor Pull, Louisville, Kentucky
The Hillbilly Pulling Team made our first appearance at the 39th annual National Farm Machinery Show Championship Tractor Pull in Louisville, Kentucky on February 16, 2007. This invitation only pull puts the best of the best against each other from east to west. We finished 6th on Friday night, competing against 17 competitors with years of experience at NFMS. I would call our first attempt at this prestigious event a huge success.
The engine went down the track at 5200 to 5600 RPMs with Champion Brands 15-40 All Fleet T in the crank case. The ring & pinion was over driven to 50 MPH tire speed with Champion Brands 4000 Tractor Hydraulic fluid protecting the rear end.
